Kelsey Lu's So Help Me God Tour is coming to The Great American Music Hall on Thursday, October 15th, 2026. This So Help Me God show @ The Great American Music Hall will be an extremely intimate performance given the nature of this tour in which Kelsey Lu will take her cello-driven pop compositions across the country to some very unique venues. It will be a fantastic chance to experience the creative evolution of songs that her adoring fans already know so well.
Kelsey Lu is set to perform the beautiful cello-driven songs she has written for her So Help Me God Tour. With her versions of classical songs as well as Foreign Car and her cover of 10cc's I'm Not in Love the show is going to be a great night of music for her fans. The work Kelsey Lu has been putting out since 2023 has been centered around the theme of self discovery, growth, and struggle through life. The songs off her album "Blood Transfusions" allow her fans to get a glimpse into the many different sounds and styles that Lu uses to create her pop/R&B sound. Songs like "Let All the Poisons" and "Shades of Blue" have become fan favorites and showcase Lu's ability to be experimental and push the boundaries of what typical pop music sounds like. Kelsey Lu began playing in church in her home state of North Carolina as the church cellist, before moving to New York where she collaborated with a variety of musicians including the work she did with Solange, Blood Orange, and Lady Gaga. As a solo artist she has received press in many publications including The New York Times and Pitchfork and is recognized today as one of the most innovative young musicians working with the cello.
The Great American Music Hall is located in the heart of San Francisco, CA. The venue is an intimate-sized club that provides a phenomenal concert experience with great sound in a historical Victorian-era building.
